Our 2020 Monthly Meetings for September, October, November and December will be held online with ZOOM. Please view the events calendar for more information about the special presentations for each meeting. More information about how to join the ZOOM meeting will be emailed to members. ZOOM meetings begin online at 6:30 pm.
The APRIL and MAY 2020 Monthly Meetings were cancelled due to safety and health concerns about Covid 19 Coronavirus. In lieu of the monthly meetings, Garden Club members were invited to send in photos of what's blooming in their yards and gardens this April & May. Click here to view the photo gallery.
We (normally) meet monthly, September to May, on the second
Wednesday each month at the Kiwanis Hall, 360 Santa
Barbara Boulevard, Cape Coral and also have a monthly trip to
somewhere of interest. We participate in both horticulture
and floral design and are staging two flower shows this year.
January’ show – New Beginnings - will be a Small Standard
show and April’s will be a Standard show celebrating Cape
Coral’s 50th anniversary.
Our monthly meetings begin with a
social half hour at 5:45 p.m., followed by our business meeting at 6:15 pm and a speaker on an
encourages membership of women and men who are familiar
with gardening in Florida and those who would like to learn
about gardening in the sub tropics, zones 9a to 10b.
Our monthly opportunity drawing helps to pay our rent
and we run an annual photography competition to select a
photograph taken by one of our members to be featured on
the cover of our annual Directory.
The club depends on membership involvement in the
several committees that run our internal operations and
outreach efforts. Committee membership is obligatory. All
members participate at our annual March in the Park event –
our main fund raiser, which provides 99 percent of the funds
that support our civic outreach efforts. A Committee list is

Members provide simple refreshments at each meeting
and our Hospitality Chair maintains the roster of
those bringing refreshments and food table centerpiece for
